Avalanche E.GO build guide

Tools needed:

1. 5mm L-Key for handlebar & seat post
2. 6mm L-Key for stem
3. 15mm spanner for the pedals

Assembly process:

1. Open box and remove the complete bike and accessory box – 2 people will be needed for the bike.
2. Stand bike upright with the kickstand mounted and remove all packaging carefully.
3. Assemble the handlebar and saddle. Straighten and adjust handlebar to comfortable position.
4. Switch the system on by pressing the power button on the control unit. Ensure that the battery is fully charged and check that the front and rear lights are functional.
5. Check that the accessory box includes a charger and owner’s manuals. There are 4 keys inserted in the lock below the carrier; ensure that these are secured to the bike and don’t get lost. (Be sure to hand over all of these items to the customer on selling an E-GO.)
6. Inflate the tyres to no more than 80PSI.
7. Check that the 3speed grip shifter is functioning.
8. Fit pedals making sure the left and right pedals are inserted and tightened correctly.   
9. Continue with all the usual checks done for the pre-delivery service.

Important notes:

1. For the first 2 x battery charge cycles the battery should be run down completely and then charged for 24hours.
2. Should the E.GO be kept in storage or not used for 3 months or more, the battery must be charged for 24hours before riding.
3. In-store cycling department should read through the full manuals of the bike and the battery to make sure they can answer customer queries.
4. The 3spd shifter should be used in conjunction with the 5-mode electrical motor to ensure maximum range is met.
